Tooth infection, my other teeth are now hurting
I went to the
dentist the other day and I was told I have a decaying cracked tooth. She stated that it needs to be pulled but she also can not pull it until the Infection is cleared. I was sent home with antibiotic to take for the infection.
The issue I am now having is that today I felt pain on my on the opposit left side of my mouth where my bad
tooth is. I am worried that the infection jumped over to the other side and now is hurting my other teeth. Can the infection do that? Should I worry about my other
teeth now that they hurt as well? I am so upset about this and do not know what to do.

The important part of your issue is to take your antibiotics as directed and clear up the infection as quickly as possible so that your dentist can do any work that is needed in order to fix your teeth issues.
The pain you are now having can because your infection, or just a side effect of the way you are biting and clenching your teeth now due to your bad tooth.
Along with taking the antibiotics for your infection see about taking Advil or Tylenol for your pain issues. If neither helps your pain, go back to your dentist and see if she is willing to prescribe you a stronger pain medicine.
You may also want to wash your mouth out with warm salt water as much as you can it will also help clear your infection.
Good luck to you wishing you well

When you have a tooth that is infected or (abscessed), it is your gum around your tooth that normally has the abscessed and not the tooth it self. This can be quit painful and even hurt the other side of your the mouth.
For the pain try taking Tylenol or Advil. Also Anbesol works well at numbing pain so you may want to see if that helps.
It goes with out saying that you still need to tak the antibiotics as subscribe to you by your dentist to clear the infection you have. The pain will lessen as your infection start to clear up.
