Dental Insurance Dental plans, What is best to get for four fillings
Hello I am 19 and out on my own I have a full time job that pay well enough and offers me medical but I do not have any dental. The last time I have been to the dentist was when I was 16 so when I when to the dentist two week ago I was not surprised about having four minor cavities that needed to be filled.
What did suprised me was how much it cost to have them fixed. Not having over $200.00 cash handy I had to put off the dental care. What would be best for me to get dental Insurance or a dental discount plan. Which would save me the most money for my needed fillings?

With your current needs you may want to get either an HMO dental insurance or a dental discount plan. Normally both have not long term waiting periods so that you can have your filling done at the effective date of the plan.

It up to you really. Right now an HMO plan you are more then likely looking at an Nov 1st effective date. So if you do not mine waiting a little longer get an HMO dental insurance plan coverage will probably be better then a discount plan.
However if you feel you can not wait it out then get a discount plan and take the saving in order to see a dentist with in the next business day of ordering and dental plan.
