Besides bad breath and stained teeth. Smokers may have an increased build up of plaque and tartar, bone loss within the jaw. Smokers increase their odds of having gum disease, which increases the chance of tooth loss.
Smoking may also delay the body healing process. This can effect ones teeth when having a tooth extraction, deep cleaning to oral surgery.
Smokers may think that they could get dental implants to fix the stated problems. However smoking may lower their success rate.
There is also the risk of developing lung or oral cancer
