Braces help?
I have been noticing that people do not seem to ask their dentist what is going on. If they take X-rays they should tell you why. If not ask them. If you have questions about why they are saying you should see and implant doctor, call them up and ask them. If you are wanting to know the time frame of when you should be able to get your braces off. Ask them this too.
Even if you are lucky to have a dentist that may answer your question on this forum he/she can only guess as to the reason why. It may help give you good insight into your questions but not as much as asking the dentist that is doing the work.
It is so important that you understand what it is they are doing. Only your dentist that is doing the work can explain that to you completely as it pertains to you. If you are a minor do not be shy about asking your dentist these questions. A good dentist will be able to answer any questions you may have regardless of your age. It is your mouth you should know what is going on.
