Bad breath – I have it
you may not be brushing enough. Since you have braces brush after eating. Talk to your dentist to find out the correct way in flossing with braces on. Flossing is important in order to remove food particles stuck in your braces.
If you don’t brush and floss your teeth daily, food particles can remain in your mouth, which promotes bacterial growth between teeth, around the gums, and on the tongue. This causes bad breath.
Persistent bad breath or a bad taste in your mouth may be warning signs of gingivitis. Gingivitis is caused by the buildup of plaque on teeth. If gingivitis continues untreated, it can damage the gums and jawbone. Your dentist will be able to see if you have the on set of gingivitis so you may wish to ask them to check this for you at your next appointment.
