My tongue is a little sore. Is this a normal problem with permanent retainers?
Since you just got the retainers it may take some time just for your mouth and tongue to adjust to it being there. You should be find soon. If the problem does not go away with in a reasonable time frame. Then call your dentist and see if they need to adjust them to make them less a issue.
