I hear your question and know how you may feel about having to have braces. However I would not worry so much what people may or may not think about your braces. Braces do not make a geek. Think of getting your braces like this…. When you get a hair cut some people like to point it out. But after a day or two no one cares. The same may happen with your braces. People will move on to something else soon enough.
