I find that using Listerine mouthwash helps me when I have a cold sore. Now they even make Listerine with minor mouth pain relief. I am sure any mouth wash may work just as well though. Try that and see. If you are still getting these random cuts… or your original cut does not heal within a day or two.  You might want to see a doctor to make sure this is not some kind of health issue.
