I have braces but I think I see a cavity
Go to your dentist they will be able to confirm if you do indeed have a cavity. Yes, you can get a cavity with braces on and the dentist will still be able to fix your cavity. So do not let the fact that you have braces stop you from seeing your dentist about a cavity. They are two different things.
