Had molars pulled, now I am sick.
I had a two molars pulled yesterday, now I am starting to feel sick. I am tired, I also have a headache, sore throat, and a upset stomach. My dentist said I do not need any antibiotics but he did give me some painkillers. Now I am worried that I could I have an infection? I do not go into see my dentist for another two weeks. Should I go sooner?

Try to determine if you are really sick or if the symptoms you are having are because you had your molars pulled. You just had the molars pulled, so I am guessing since you are taking pain medicine that you have some pain. Pain like to travel. Because your mouth may hurt do to the extraction, it is common that you may also get a headache or feel as if you have a sore throat. The stress of having your tooth pulled may also be what is causing you to have an upset stomach.
If you are following your dentist aftercare instructions and are still not feeling well after a few days, you may wish to go to your dentist sooner then your two week appointment.

Are you keeping the extraction area clean. Washing your mouth out with warm salt water or whatever your dentist had advised for you to use? If you are sure it is not because of lack of care, then I would ask if you read the directions on the back of the pain medicine? Some pain medicine states that you have to take on a full stomach. If you do not do that you may get a upset stomach like you stated you had.
I think your first reply address why you may have the other symptoms, but I wanted to point out another reason you may not be feeling well.

I say if you feel like you may have an infection because of the extraction. Then go to your dentist as soon as possible. I would not wait. Get the antibiotics, maybe you did not need them at the time but you may need it now.
Even if you do not have an infection, and it is all symptomatic. You do not know that. You have nothing to lose and every thing to gain if the dentist says you now need to have the antibiotics.
