Can babies teeth come in bad and decayed?
When a baby cut a tooth can that tooth come through rotten? My friend baby is just getting her teeth in and her teeth are already getting bad . She does not know why this is happening. Can her baby just be born with bad teeth? If so can they be fixed. ? Just wanting to be able to get her some information that may be helpful to her.

First I think your friend may want to see a pediatric dentist. With that being said. My thoughts would be to check with the dentist to see if the baby has baby bottle tooth decay. A baby can get then when the baby has prolonged contact with almost any liquid other than water.
If you see that your friend lets her baby sleep with a baby bottle, or that the child had a baby bottle when she is not feeding. These are examples of how a baby can get BBTD. Maybe have her look into this to see if BBTD is a causing factor of her baby bad teeth

It sounds a lot like bottle mouth or (BBTD). However whether or not her baby has that I do not know. I would suggest for her to ask her dentist about this. They would be able to advise on the cause of her baby bad teeth. On the bright side baby teeth are not her permeate teeth. If her baby losses her teeth too soon you would have to take care that her adult teeth grown in correctly. A space maintainer may be use for that.

It is important that even as babies that good dental hygiene is used. As suggest in a early post, one wants to avoid giving a baby a bottle with anything other then water. Some people like to give their child bottles to help keep the quite. This is not a good idea. For excess liquid will promote tooth decay.
A few good suggestions would be to try and teach your child how to drink out of a cup as soon as possible. Do not let a baby sleep with a bottle in their mouth. Also brush the baby mouth with a soft baby tooth brush.
Another reason for bad baby teeth can be that the teeth do not have the enamel that would normally protect the teeth from decay. If that is a causing factor see about having sealants. Sealant would then help protect the teeth in question.
