New to braces, do you brush every day ?
I am new to getting braces so I am not sure. Do you brush your teeth every day when you have braces? I right now I brush twice a day but does having braces change how many times you are to brush? Is it bad to brush to much? Can you brush your braces off? If you do not brush how do you clean them? Any info would be good. I hate to ask to many questions at the dentist have have him think I am slow.

Yes you will need to brush your teeth even with braces on. In fact it is even more important you bush your teeth when you have braces. Food will get caught in your braces making your teeth dirtier. Brush ‘em twice a day!
Do not worry about brushing your braces off. Just brush like you would normally. If by any change that a brace did come off, your orthodontic dentist can quickly fix it.

Getting braces does not change anything. You will still need to brush two times a day and you will also need to continue flossing. Also do not be scared of asking your dentist any questions you may have. Your dentist will not think you are slow. He would rather you know how to take care of your braces then you not doing what is required.

Please do not stop taking care of your teeth just because you are going to get braces. Nothing changes other then now you may have to take extra care to clean and brush you teeth. You do not want to get any cavities while you are in your braces. Also by not brushing you run the risk of getting gingivitis.
Whenever you are unsure about your dental work that you are having done. Ask your dentist to explain things to you until you know what is expected from you.
Also just ask your Orthodontic if they have care instructions for your braces. Most do and that would help you to avoid asking questions you may feel silly for asking later.
