Why do my teeth bleed when I brush
Bleeding teeth
Lately when I brush my teeth start to bleed. I notice this when I spit out my toothpaste. I never spit out blood before. Now however, I do and it seems to be alot. This has been going on for a little over a month. My teeth only bleed when I brush and at no other time so I know that brushing is the cause of the bleeding.

Well I do not think it is your teeth that are bleeding. It is your gums that are bleeding when you brush. Your gums bleed when you brush normal because you are bushing too hard or you have the start of gingivitis.
I would go to the dentist to rule gingivitis out. Or if it is the problem early treatment is the key to not having farther problems in the future.

Sounds like to me you have gingivitis. You should go to your dentist to check and see. If left untreated you can start to lose your teeth over time.

If you did not get a new tooth brush and you are not brushing any harder then you normally would, then go to the dentist.
Bleeding gums is one of the first signs of gum disease.
