Braces for crooked teeth
Should I get braces
I have two crooked teeth on the top and four crooked teeth on the bottom. Other then my teeth not be straight they are healthy in every other way. No cavitys and nice and white. I take good care of my teeth. However they do bother me that they are crooked. My dentist says that they ae not so bad and that getting braces would correct and straighten my teeth, but he does not see any real need to pay the extra money for braces.
I am torned, on one hand I would like to have straight teeth. It seems a shame to have just good teeth but for them to be crooked. On the other hand money as always is an issue. I am not sure if I should spend that like of money for in the end cosmedic resons. What do you think? Advise is welcome.

My advise is just save a fund for your braces. Put whatever amount you feel you can without leaving you short. It may take you some time before getting the braces but this way you can afford them since you would have saved the money.
Otherwise just getting them could be an added expense you may find you can not afford.

I think that if it bothers you to have the crooked teeth then by all means get the braces to fix them. There is ways to lower your cost. Just by getting dental insurance or a dental discount plan you could really help reduce the cost of your braces. I listed a good website for you to look at. I hope it helps.

Without photos it is hard to say if your teeth really look that bad to worry about. However, if your own dentist is saying your teeth are not that bad I am sure he knows what he talking about.
