Partials and dentures what to do
Do not want to get partials
I just got my dental insurance though work about two week ago. So I went into the dentist for a cleaning since it has been a while, and was told I have three back molars that need to be pulled. That they were in to bad a shape to save with a crown. The dentist then said have they are pulled and my gums heal I should get partial to be fitted.
I can not believe it I am only 27 and they want me to have fake teeth! I know I need to have the teeth pulled because they were starting to hurt me a little. But to have to wear fake teeth. I do not know I feel really bad about that. I am thinking about not going back to the dentist after they pull my teeth. Do I really need partials?

I would suggest whenever you can save a tooth you should try and do that. However, it sounds as if your dentist is saying that pulling is the only choice. The reason he is also wanting you to get a partial is that it will help keep your remaining teeth from shifting into the open space left.
You do not want your teeth to shift or then you may start to have gaps that people will be able to see. The way they have partials now, no one would know that you even had fake teeth. That is unless you tell them.

Well it sounds like your teeth are in pretty bad shape right now. Get the work you need done. You will only look better and feel better. Do not sweat the small stuff no one will know you have fake teeth.
