I hate my retainers
Just how long dose it take to get use to retainers. I just got my braces of after having them for four years. I was so happy. Now I have this stupid retainer to wear and I hate it. I can not get use to having it in my mouth. I have to take it out to talk since I can not talk right with it in. I have to wear it for now day and night. Until latter when I will only have to have it in to sleep with. How long until I can get use to it?

Give it some time just like your braces you will over time get use to your retainer. Just make sure you wear them as directed by your dentist or all your hard work will be for nothing. The retainer keeps your teeth from shifting.
