Invisaligns for an overbite
Have an over bite do not want metal braces
Can invisalgns be used for an overbite? I have a small overbite and my orthodontic dentist only wants to do metal braces he puts down any ideas I have for invisaligns. I will not get metal braces. I do not like my overbite so I am willing to get invisaligns since you can take them on and off and they are hard to see. I do not care if it takes longer to fix my bite with them. My dentist just puts them down and I feel that he may be just trying to get more money out of me. Anyone have invisaligns for an overbite?

Well I would advise if you are not happy with your orthodontic dentist try to find one that is willing to work with you. Some orthodontic do not do invisaligns in their office. This may be the case with the one you are currently seeing. Which may be why he say he does not like them.
To be fair normally in invisaligns are more expensive then metal braces so I do not think it is a money issue.

Yes invisaligns can correct an overbite as well as under and cross bites. Not all dentist are skilled in using invisaligns so you need to find a orthodontic dentist that does invisaligns treatment.
