Braces help my brackets keep coming off
Broken Brackets help
I have had braces now for about six months and I just broke another bracket off in the back. During Thanks Giving I broke two brackets. I hate going to the orthodontic to get them fixed because they always give me attitude about it. They are like oh it is you again. How many brackets did you brake now. This makes me mad that they are so rude to me. I think that it is the glue they are using. I have friends with braces that eat anything they want and they have never broke a bracket. This will be the six one the broke on me.
The dentist yells at me and tells me I need to learn how to eat right. My mom is paying extra each time I have to have one fix and now she is getting upset with me. What can I do? This is becoming a problem that I really feel is the dentist fault. Any advise please

Next time you see your dentist talk to him like an adult and explain how you feel. Tell him you are following what he is telling you to do and that the brackets are still coming off. Ask him about the glue. Just make sure you do not get rude about it or have when you are talking to him attitude with him.

I guess it could be the glue like you said. However try and review what it is that you are doing first. Maybe you are accidentally braking them off. The brackets should not come off that easy. I too would said try talking to the dentist. See if he can try a different glue to see if it makes any difference.
As far as the dentist being rude. Sometimes they will just tell you how it is without really meaning to sound rude. Remember they are not with you 24/7 to know whether or not you are following their instructions. To be fair most people do not and then are upset when brackets fall off.
