Clear ceramic braces
Does dental insurance cover for the clear braces.
I am looking into getting braces but do not really want Metal ones. Dose dental insurance cover the clear ceramic braces? I am not talking about invisalins, I know that they do not cover for those. However I think I would not mind just having the clear brace compared to having to have metal one.

Generally speaking for braces you want to make sure that the insurance plan you are reviewing not only offer braces but has braces for adults. Some insurance will only cover minors or children up to a set age. Normally insurance plans will coverage for the Metal type of braces only.
This is not to say all dental insurance plans are like that. Only that it is up to you to know the policy terms before buying any dental insurance plans.
You may want to look into a dental discount plan. They will normally give you a discount off of any type of braces from kids to adults. Average discount is around 20%. However you should still read the plan terms so that you know what your saving under the plan you are reviewing.

A dental discount plan may be the way to go for Adult braces or for braces other then Metal. Not only do you get the 20% off but the plans start the next business day. (Well at least the one I got)
You also do not have to wait for any company approval in order to get your braces like you do with some dental insurance companies.
I listed the site of where I got my plan. Check it out and see if it can help you too. =)

There are dental insurance plans that cover for braces even for adult braces. However finding one may take some time. Not knowing what state you are in makes it hard to help you with your search.
Just make sure you read and know what it is that you are buying. That you want clear ceramic braces may make your search harder.
Another tip that may help is to ask the orthodontic office that you would be wanting to go to what dental insurance plans do they accept.
