Four root canals and no pain
My dentist told me I either need 4 root canal or4 extractions
I am not sure what to do. I have no pain and only went in for a cleaning since it as been about a year since the last time I had one. The dentist said that I have four bad teeth and I would either need to pull them or have root canal in them in order to save the teeth.
This seem a bit much. Would I not have some pain if my teeth were so bad? Not sure if I should let him do anything. Please advise

When in doubt get a second opinion. It is well worth the extra cost to make sure what is being advise is right for you. It is possible that you have a need for four root canals and or extractions.
However, if you feel that it seem a bit much as you stated then get another opinion. Even if the second dentist agrees with the first about what is needed. It give you a chance to shop out cost and to have peace of mind.
