Jaw pain for a few weeks
pain in my mouth for about two weeks.
So when I first started getting the pain in the back of my mouth by my wisdom teeth I though that I may have been getting a cold sore. It felt like that at first. I do not think the pain is coming from my wisdom teeth since I never had any problems with them and they are fully out.
Thinking cold sore I have been rinsing my mouth out with warm salt water. That always helped before so I thought it would clear up this issue. It has not help and now I do not think the pain I am having is any kind of sore. Mostly I have the jaw pain in the morning when I wake up. Then off and on though out the day depending on how I eat. I will be making a dental appointment but since we are now holidays are coming I can not get in until after the New Year.
Anyone have any ideas what it may be? Or want I can do in the mean time while I am waiting to see the dentist

You may want to see about any possible TMJ issues. Also you could be grinding your teeth at night when you sleep and that is why your jaw hurt mostly in the morning when you wake up.
At least that is two things to think about and to address to your dentist.

Off hand I would say TMJ too sounds a lot it. Not much you can do about it yourself. Take Advill for the pain you may have and go see a dentist as soon as you can.
