Having three teeth pulled
Does it hurt when Dentist pulls out your teeth
I have a over crowding issue with my teeth. The dentist told me that he will need to have three teeth pulled to help with the crowding issue. I have to have them pulled before they will give me braces. So I am wondering does it hurt to have your teeth pulled? If so how much? I am not a big baby but I do not like to be in pain.

No having your teeth pulled really does not hurt. The dentist will do everything he can so that you do not feel any pain. Just let the dentist know if you do feel pain so they can numb that area.
You may have some pain after it is all over. But Advile or Tylenol should help you get though any pain afterwords.

The dentist will normally numb your gums really good so you do not feel the extraction. That is if they do not just put you out. That too is a possibility. If they do that you will not even remember anything.
You will have some soreness afterwords and your jaw maybe be stiff for a few day too. However you will be fine.

Well for me I did feel some pulling and tugging. I would not say that it really hurt but I did feel a little as to what was going on. I just did not having my mouth open that long of a time. I was just glad it was over when it was over. I was fine latter on. I had two teeth pulled out.

It is very common that you may have to have a few teeth pulled when getting braces due to over crowding. The dentist will remove your teeth with little to no pain. Your jaw may hurt some afterwords. But nothing to big and sometimes the dentist may prescribe a pain killer for you to take latter.
