Braces and Wisdom teeth
Will the have to remove my wisdom teeth
I will be getting braces soon in about a month. I have very crowed teeth now which is making my teeth crooked. I do not have room for my wisdom teeth to come in. I had to have my general dentist take the X-rays which show I have wisdom teeth they just have not come out yet. He is sending the X-rays over to me Orthodontic for review so he can advise whether or not I need to have any teeth pulled due to the over crowding.
Do you think that I will have to have my wisdom teeth pulled too? The are not out yet so would that be done before I get braces or after? I do not get to talk to my Ortho until another week. I would like to have some idea what to expect.

Well when I got braces for over crowding my dentist had four teeth pulled, before they would put on the braces to make room to straighten them out. I had a very small mouth so stretching my mouth was not something I was going to have done.
After I was about to get my braces off I had to have two of my wisdom teeth removed the other two never came in. That was me though so it may go differently for you.
