My friend needs to have a root canal but is afraid of going to the dentist.  She is not scared of going to the dentist so much as she is afraid of getting dental shots.  She was told that she would have some shots given to her so that they can do the root canal without hurting her.  She is crying about getting the shot not having the root canal done.   Is there anything she can do?
