A spring popped out of my braces.
I have metal type of braces. I was just eating normal food when one of my springs popped off my braces. It is still attached to one end but not the other. I will be going to my orthodontic appointment tomorrow for my regular check up and adjustment. What should I do in the mean time. Is it okay to take out the spring or should I just leave it alone?

Leave it alone if it is not bothering you. Otherwise take it out if it is hurting but make sure you tell your orthodontic dentist that it came off one side. One day is not going to hurt you.

Ha Ha that happens to me all the time… It is no big deal as long as you get it fixed as soon as possible. Keep it in if you can that way the dentist can see where it is coming off at. Otherwise I would not worry to much about it.
