Help on finding supplemental dental insurance.
I have a ton of dental work needed.
I just got a job that offers dental insurance so that is one plus. However, I have so much dental work that is needed that even with the dental insurance I am getting though work I still have a large dental cost on my side. I am going to be maxing my limit out so fast that it would take years for me to get all the work I need and have it covered under my plan.
I am looking for supplemental dental insurance to help share the cost that my dental insurance I have though work will not pay for. That way I will have little to no cost left on my end. The problem is although my dentist says they will combine plans I have not be able to find anything that works like this. Advise please.

First start with your dental office. It great they are willing to work two plans but if you want to stay with that dental office you need to find two plans that they take.
Ask them what are some of the other dental plans they take so you can look them up and see if you can get them. Other wise you may be spinning your wheels trying to find plans on line.
Keep in mind combining plans would depend on what type of plan you currently have as well. Example you can not combine two HMO together. So knowing what type of plan you currently have is necessary in order to know what kind of plan you can combine it too.
Make sure that even if you find a plan that you can combine, that you are not just spending more money to have a second plan then what you are saving from it. Many times this can be the case. Read all the limitations so that it makes scene to you.
In the end you may want to talk to a dental insurance agent for help. You can also refer to http://www.insurancecompany.com they have many plan that may help you with your dental cost.

It can be done but make sure you read and know the plan that you would be getting as a second. I would be guessing but if you are looking for a second plan to help your additional dental cost then you need more then just a cleaning.
Plans like PPO’s or Indemnity dental plan normally have long waiting periods for basic and major dental services. So even though you can choice your own dentist picking a plan like them may be more costly in the long run.

Well I was able to combined dental plans but not after having to do a lot of work and research. Make sure you do your homework when trying to use two plans for your dental work. I started first with my dentist to see what type of dental plans they accepted.
