Please help I was eating popcorn and I got this little hard piece pop corn stuck in between my gum and tooth. I flossed really good and I thought I got it all out. However now my gums in that area is really hurting me. What can I do to make sure I got it all out? How can I stop the gum pain? Will the pain just go away or should I see a dentist?
Can someone explain to me what are high speed braces. I am guessing that as the name suggest they are braces that would be faster then normal braces. Going beyond that I would like more information. Can anyone have speed braces? I am looking for braces for an adult not a child. How do speed braces work? Can any orthodontic dentist do speed braces or just a few?
My sister has crooked and gaped teeth. She is twenty-five. I am trying to help her find information about braces. She is worried she is too old. I explained to her that there is no age limit on having braces. So I got her to at least look into it. What I need is any information on the different types of braces so I can give that to her. She will be seeing a dentist about braces in three weeks but needs to know what to ask and so she can be prepared.
My gums have been red and slightly swollen for over two months now. I be using Listerine with gum care and that seemed to be helping me. My gums still hurt but not all the time mostly when I brush or eat. Since I do not have a dentist and no dental insurance using mouthwash is really the only affordable thing for me to do.

Dental Schools
My dentist at the time told me that I needed three root canals and four filling. I would also need crowns for the teeth that required the root canals. The dentist at the time told me the cost for all the work I needed would be over 5000.00. I did not have the money for such work to be done. So I only fix the one tooth that was hurting me at the time. That was over one year ago.

Dental Discount
You will want to use caution with this type of dental plan since it is not insurance. The managing organizations have negotiated with local dental offices to establish a set price for a particular dental procedure and offer deep discounts (some up to 70%) off the regular ADA pricing code. This plan has several advantages over traditional dental insurance plans, namely, there are no exclusions for pre-existing conditions. This allows a patient to receive immediate coverage for work without meeting any waiting period requirements.

Hi, am and seventeen and thinking about becoming a dental hygienist. Would like some idea of how much the average salary for a dental hygienist. I would like to have a job that seems cool and I like working with people but I still want the job to at least pay well enough to make a good living on. I have thinking a lot about dental hygienist because I really like my dental hygienist. She is really nice and she says that she really likes her job. I did not think it would be right for me to ask how much she makes. So information on this would be great.
Wanting affordable dental insurance.
I am looking for dental insurance that I can afford. This seems like a real problem for me. So far all I can find are plans that are going to cost me $30 – $40 a month and have very long waiting periods before coverages even start. Also to top things off they also have a yearly dollar max. Were can I find a dental insurance plan without all of these limitations? I am at the end of my rope.
I would really like to know about the going rate of having dental implants. I am here in GA if it matters. I have one dentist quoting me about 900 -1100 a tooth. I have not clue about cost but is that about right. I have four teeth three in the back on one in the front.
