Please help I was eating popcorn and I got this little hard piece pop corn stuck in between my gum and tooth. I flossed really good and I thought I got it all out. However now my gums in that area is really hurting me. What can I do to make sure I got it all out? How can I stop the gum pain? Will the pain just go away or should I see a dentist?

Can someone explain to me what are high speed braces. I am guessing that as the name suggest they are braces that would be faster then normal braces. Going beyond that I would like more information. Can anyone have speed braces? I am looking for braces for an adult not a child. How do speed braces work? Can any orthodontic dentist do speed braces or just a few?

My sister has crooked and gaped teeth. She is twenty-five. I am trying to help her find information about braces. She is worried she is too old. I explained to her that there is no age limit on having braces. So I got her to at least look into it. What I need is any information on the different types of braces so I can give that to her. She will be seeing a dentist about braces in three weeks but needs to know what to ask and so she can be prepared.

My gums have been red and slightly swollen for over two months now. I be using Listerine with gum care and that seemed to be helping me. My gums still hurt but not all the time mostly when I brush or eat. Since I do not have a dentist and no dental insurance using mouthwash is really the only affordable thing for me to do.

Dental Schools
My dentist at the time told me that I needed three root canals and four filling. I would also need crowns for the teeth that required the root canals. The dentist at the time told me the cost for all the work I needed would be over 5000.00. I did not have the money for such work to be done. So I only fix the one tooth that was hurting me at the time. That was over one year ago.

My gums really hurt and I do not have dental Insurance
So about two weeks ago I got a soft toothbrush and toothpaste with whiting. Now my gums are really sore and they are bleeding. I did not worry so much at first since I started wearing my retainer again that I had a while back. I figured since it had been a while since I wore my retainer last that may be way my gums hurt now.

What is the best toothpaste that you can suggest to someone that has very sensitive teeth? My teeth are very sensitive to hot and cold. So eating and drinking anything too hot or cold can sometime be very painful for a few minutes while eating.

I have for the past three week being have really bad dreams off and on about my teeth falling out. In some dreams I am eating lunch at school with my friends when my teeth just start braking off and fall out of my mouth. My friends would be grossed out and start laughing at me. Other dreams would be that I am at the dentist and he would be like all your teeth are rotten don’t your brush? They would be all nice before going in but are rotten out when the deistist goes to look at them.

Dental Discount
You will want to use caution with this type of dental plan since it is not insurance. The managing organizations have negotiated with local dental offices to establish a set price for a particular dental procedure and offer deep discounts (some up to 70%) off the regular ADA pricing code. This plan has several advantages over traditional dental insurance plans, namely, there are no exclusions for pre-existing conditions. This allows a patient to receive immediate coverage for work without meeting any waiting period requirements.

Hi, am and seventeen and thinking about becoming a dental hygienist. Would like some idea of how much the average salary for a dental hygienist. I would like to have a job that seems cool and I like working with people but I still want the job to at least pay well enough to make a good living on. I have thinking a lot about dental hygienist because I really like my dental hygienist. She is really nice and she says that she really likes her job. I did not think it would be right for me to ask how much she makes. So information on this would be great.

Wanting affordable dental insurance.
I am looking for dental insurance that I can afford. This seems like a real problem for me. So far all I can find are plans that are going to cost me $30 – $40 a month and have very long waiting periods before coverages even start. Also to top things off they also have a yearly dollar max. Were can I find a dental insurance plan without all of these limitations? I am at the end of my rope.

I would really like to know about the going rate of having dental implants. I am here in GA if it matters. I have one dentist quoting me about 900 -1100 a tooth. I have not clue about cost but is that about right. I have four teeth three in the back on one in the front.

I live in New York and I am looking for an individual dental insurance plan that I can buy. I am self employed so I have to get my own insurance. The problem I am having is that I can only find dental discount plans and I do not want a discount plan because my dentist does not take them. I am looking for insurance were I can choice my own dentist. Where can I find something like that?

If you are deciding between dental bridges or dental implants which would you get? And why? I am looking into both choices but I am just not sure. Money is a bit of a factor. I know the cost of implants are really expensive compare to a bridge.

One of my sons dental spacer just fell out today. It does not look like something you can just put back in. Should I make a dental appoint for it to be put back in asap or is it okay to wait for his next about in about two weeks. I would rather wait if it is okay since I took off time from work to take him. However it is more important to do it sooner then I will do what is necessary

I have metal braces and since I got them on my gums have been really swollen. Since my gums really did not hurt I thought they were like that due to the braces being put on. Now however, I have had my braces for six months and my gums never when down. They are still swollen. They also hurt sometimes when I brush or floss my teeth. Which I do daily. My orthodontic dentist never says anything about my gums being bad so I am not sure what to do. How can I make them go back down to normal ?

I am wanting dental implants
I have three missing teeth in the back. I can not have a bridge because I do not have two connecting teeth. So my dentist said that I could have a partial which he can do for me. Or I can look into implants that would be just like my normal teeth but that he does not do implants so I would need to find a dentist that does.
