Fillings on a 3 year old?
My three year old son has had damaged enamel on his front tooth. Because of the damaged enamel his front tooth broke and he is left with half of a tooth. What is left of the broken tooth is brown in color. My dentist at the time told me it is best to leave it alone which i have done.

I would have the dentist fix the cavities. You do not want them to get an worse by doing nothing. Talk to him more about the broken tooth and see if it needs to be fixed do to decay. If so the I too would have it fixed. If he only fixing it for looks. Then fixing it or not would be up to you. Keeping in mind it is only a baby tooth I probably would not fix it for looks only.
Next to avoid additional cavities due to the bad enamel I would ask the dentist about dental sealants. Dental sealants will help protect your child teeth were his enamel is not able to.

Get what you can afford to do fixed. You do not want it to start becoming an even bigger issue. I think you should also talk to your dentist about sealants see if that would help her to avoid future issues.
