Need dental help in California
I need a root canal in one of my top molars. I been having on and off pain now for the last few days. What are my options in California if I do not have any dental insurance? I have a job but it is only part time so I do not make a lot of extra money for dental cost. Need help please advise.

Try buying either a Dental HMO insurance plan or a Dental discount plan. Both are low monthly cost plans and will help you reduce your dental cost for the crown needed.
They normally do not have any waiting periods that will effect you with regards to getting a crown, but read the plan detail well to make sure.
Here is a link for you to check out both types of plans.

I would get a dental discount plan to at lease save money on your dental services ASAP. Then try to find a dentist that is also willing to work out some type of payment if still necessary

I live in CA too and was able to find really affordable dental insurance though Golden West Dental. That may be a plan that could help you too. I got it though my insurance agent but I check out the web site noted in the last post and they also sell it there.
Check out that plan they have no waiting period for a root canal and you sill have time to sign up for a March first effective date.
Good luck
