I often bite my tongue throughout the day
I catch myself biting my tongue when I am stressed out which is pretty much most of the day. I am wondering if this is normal. I also have jaw ache and head ache too, but mostly in the morning. I do not grin my teeth just when I am not thinking about it I bite my tongue. I do not even notice I am doing it until my tongue starts to hurt.
I would liked to stop but not sure how since it happens without me really being aware of it. Can it be a bite issue with my teeth? I am worried that it will only get worse so advise would be nice.

Your jaw may hurt in the morning because you could be grinding your teeth at night when you sleep. Try buying a night guard to sleep with to see if that helps you.
Biting your tongue sounds more like a thing you do out of stress. Whenever you catch yourself tell yourself to stop. Braking this habit will come down to will power on your end.

Seems like you are just doing it out of some weird habit, more then any bite issues. However have it check out by your dentist. A dentist would be able to tell if you have any bite issue or if you are in fact grinding your teeth at night.

This sounds more like a odd habit. There are many little odd habits that people can get into doing. Like any habit stopping it will come down to you and your will power. If you need to have your friends and family point it out to you whenever they notice you are biting on your tongue.
