Composite resin filling how long do they last
So I will be going in to have a small filling on one of my back molars. The dentist is going to use a composite resin filling. My appointment is within the next two weeks. I was just wondering how long is the filling good for? My dad had the same fillings since he was a child. So do composite filling last that long?

Composite resin fillings are durable, made of a safe resin material which binds to the tooth and can be very long-lasting. Many dentist will only do composite resin.
If you are worried about any of your resin filling being too old. Have your dentist check them out. Your dentist can advise if they need to be replaced.
