Expired Toothpaste can I still use it
I was given a prescription toothpaste from my dentist back in 2006. I had gotten two tubes of paste I used one of the tubes of toothpaste but missed placed the other until now. I would like to use it but it expired back in 2008. I do not want to use it if it will make me sick. Since this toothpaste at the time cost me over 20.00 a tube I hate to just toss it. What do you think? Is it okay to use?

I do not think it would hurt you. However, it may also be of little use not since it is past is prime. Expiration dates are put on products because they may go bad or lose it benefits over time.
You could always call your dentist that gave you the toothpaste and see what they tell you. Other wise I would just toss it.

I do not see the point in using the toothpaste. Any benefits it had would be gone by now. Just move on if you feel you need stronger toothpaste go back to your dentist and last for a new prescription.

I use expired toothpaste once. It did not kill me but I will say that it did not taste to great either. I could tell the difference right away. It also had a more chalky texture to it as well. I would not advise you to use it. However, if you want to try and see of yourself it will not hurt you any either.
