Phantom wisdom tooth pain
I had my wisdom teeth pulled over two years ago. I have been fine until the last two days. I have a really bad pain in the back were one of my wisdom tooth use to be. I guess on the gum in the back behind my last molar. It is not the tooth hurting it is the gum area where my wisdom tooth would have been. why is it hurting me now? What can I do for the pain?

I do not think off hand it would have anything to do with your wisdom teeth extraction only because that was two years ago. Possible a part of the tooth root was not removed and it is working it way out.
However, I think it is more likely that you have a sore behind your last tooth. A cold sore would hurt and can just show up in a day and be there for about a week if you do nothing about it. Since it will go away on it own.
Try washing your mouth out with warm salt water to help clear it up faster. If you see no improvement go to the dentist and have the dentist check it out for you

If I had to guess I would say it was some kind of sore on the back of your gum more then anything else. Cold sore or canker sore.
However it also could be you have gotten some food bits stuck between your gum line and your last tooth. Therefore infecting your gum and causing the pain you are now having. See if you can floss out anything.
I too would advise seeing a dentist if the pain does not go away.

Have your dentist check it out. It may be that you have the starting of gum disease.

If you know it is not a sore it is possible a bit of the tooth root was left and is working it way out. That happen to me on an extraction I had over three years ago. So you can not rule it out.
In order to make sure you will need to go to the dentist for X-rays. The dentist will then be able to tell you if that is the case or not.
Try using Orajel for you pain until you see the dentist.
