Swelling gums after braces
I just had my braces removed two day ago. Now my gums are swelling, red and sore. What can I do to make them go back to normal? I been brushing like normal two to three times and I do floss daily. Not sure why they are inflamed right now right after removing my braces.

Your gums are more then likely just sore from having the braces removed. Try washing out your mouth twice a day with warm salt water. That should help clear them up.
If you see no change or if your gums get worse go to the dentist and have them looked at.

When my daughter had her braces removed her teeth and gums were sore. Her gums were also red and a little swollen. They stayed that way for about a week. I had her wash her mouth out about twice a day with warm salt water.
She was fine latter her gums just needed some time to go back to normal. I would say if you do not feel better by a week go back to your dentist and have it check out.
