In need of good dental insurance for the state of Maryland.
Hi, I am just getting out of the Army and will be moving to the state of Maryland with my wife and two sons. I will be in need of a good family dental plan. I want to have a plan with good over all dental coverage. I am not worry about the monthly cost of the plan, as long as it a quality dental plan I am buying.
I know that some plans have waiting periods. Which I do not belive will be an issue with my family since I made sure they all went to the dentist for their check ups. No one is in need of any current dental work. That said I would like the waiting period if there is any to be reasonable. What can you suggest I look for?

Sounds like what you are looking for is a PPO or an dental Indemnity plan. One were your family can choose their own dentist. on http://www.insurancecompany.com they have such plans. You can find that they offer PPO and Indemnity dental plan though Standard Life, Dental Dental And Nationwide in your state of Maryland.
