When you get your braces off can the dentist whiten your teeth?
My good friend had braces for over three years and she getting them off in a week. Right now the part of the teeth you can see are pretty yellow. She brushes but I guess with the braces she could not use anything to whiten her teeth. Now that she is getting her braces off she is worried about her teeth looking all funny and messed up with yellow stains. Can her dentist whiten her teeth once he take off her braces?

Yes the dentist can whiten her teeth once the braces are off. She will look great too. So tell her not to worry about it

The orthodontic dentist will clean her teeth after removing the braces to get any glue off. They normally will not whiten her teeth at the orthodontic office.
However, she can go to he general dentist to have her teeth whiten without any issues.
