Need braces, but have bad gum issues
How do you treat swollen gums faster? I need to have braces but the Orthodontic dentist will not start treatment. He said that I have some gum problems that need to be clear up. My gums are very noticeable swollen, gun and often bleed when I brush and sometimes eat. The Orthodontic dentist said that I would need to see a Periodontist dentist to get gum treatment first. How can I help to clear up this gum issue so they they stop bleeding and become less swollen.?

Wash your mouth out with warm salt water whenever you think about it during the day. Get mouthwash with gum protection. and brush your teeth with a soft tooth brush. Also do not forget to floss.

Well you may need to see a Periodontist as advised to you by the Orthodontic. However just really start to focus on taking better care of your gums and teeth. There is toothpaste as well and mouthwash for gums issues. Try using those products and see if that helps you some

Hydrogen peroxide is good for killing germs mix a little in warm water and use as a mouthwash. I found this works well with my teeth and gums when needed.
Do not use to much or do to often though you do not want to wear down you tooth enamel
