Can a dentist fix a gap without braces.
I have a small gap between my front top teeth. I am older in my late forty. My teeth are healthy as well as my gums. However over the years I rounded up with this gap I never had before. I would like to have it fixed but not looking to get into braces for one small gap at my age. Can a dentist fix the gap by other means ?

Talk to a cosmetic dentist. A cosmetic dentist may be able to put veneers the two teeth that are on either side of the gap closing the gap up with the veneers.

A cosmetic dentist can do almost anything. The problem is that most insurance plans do not cover for cosmetic services. So depending on what you have to do it can be a high out of pocket expense.

Braces may be the better way to go but I agree talk to a cosmetic dentist. That way you can discuss your choices and see which way would be best for you. I would try and find a dentist that will give you a free consult.
