Can not afford dental care, letting my teeth rot.
I currently have two abscessed teeth that I am sure needs to be pulled and about six cavities that need to be filled. I am on the low side of low income with no dental insurance. The amount of dental work that I need to have done will cost me more then I can save in four years! There are no caring dentist that are willing to help me I know since I called five in my area who all said that they would only be able to give between 5 to 10 percent discount if I pay in full. Please there is no way I can paid cash in full and they think they are doing me a favor.

Right now I do not have a job and as you can guess live on a very fixed income. The help I get from the state is not much and does not pay for my dental needs. I know I have a cavity or two that need to be address sooner then later. Is there state help that I fail to fine? Or are there dentist that work with very low income people? If so how do I find them?

Invisalign may not be appropriate for certain cases of misalignment or complex bit problems. If Invisalign is not appropriate, traditional orthodontics can still be used for such conditions as: Crowding and spacing fret then five millimeters. Invisalign is currently approved for adults and teenagers with completely erupted permanent teeth who can faithfully follow the directions for treatment.

I am trying to find out information for my friend. She has two baby teeth that never had adult teeth come in. She is twenty five now and will never have adult teeth for those two baby teeth. So I am wondering if she can have adult size crowns put on baby teeth to make them look more appealing. If not what else could she do that would not be too costly.

I just got laid off of my job about four months ago. Right now I am on unemployment and looking for work. The problem I am having is that I chipped my tooth while I was eating a few days ago and need for it to get fixed. The dental insurance I had though work is null and void and unemployment does not pay for dental care.

I went to the dentist yesterday for a crown thinking that the insurance I have would cover me since it stated it cover 50% of the cost for crowns. However after the work was started I found out that I had a waiting period for the crown and I still have two more months to go before the company will pay out on one.

When you lose a tooth and or teeth due to gum disease, tooth decay or trauma what is the best solution. My dentist is telling me the best way to replace missing teeth is by dental implants. Is that true? What are some other solutions? Would they be better or worse then having dental implants?

Where do I go to get free dental work done? I do not currently have a job and I have no insurance. My teeth are not really bad but I know I need to have them checked before I do start having problems with them. I have called the dentist in my area but for the X-rays, cleaning and office vitis only they are still quoting me 100 – 175 dolards. That may not seem like a lot to you but to me I do not have that kind of money. Please advise were I find a dentist that will do the work for free.

There is not much medically that can be done to replace the missing tooth. If it is lost due to an accident, and the tooth is recovered quickly enough, you can sometimes have it reattached, but often too much time passes between the loss of the tooth and getting the person to a doctor or dentist. Often, the only choice for those who need to replace a tooth is a dental implant.
Dental implants are artificial roots for a tooth that is placed in your mouth and attached to a replacement tooth or a bridge. They do not rest on other teeth to support the replacement tooth, but rather are rooted into the gums. They are extremely naturalistic, and those who receive dental implants often do not even notice a difference in their oral function after the surgery has healed.

I finally got dental insurance and I seen a very good dentist that I do like. He has seen me and put together a treatment plan. The thing is I will not be starting work until another month. I have some toothache pain now. The dentist said he would prescribe me something for the pain. Which is nice of him but I do not have the money of the prescription he would give me. Is there anything kind of home treatment I could do for the tooth pain until I see the dentist to have my done.

My questions is this: I know most dental insurance do not cover for teeth whitening. However what I would like to know is if you only want teeth whiten dose the dentist still have to take X-rays and do cleaning first? I do not want to have to pay for those things too on top of having to pay for the whitening. Can a dentist only do the teeth whiting treatment without anything eles be done?

Thank you for your help on my last post. I made up my mind to over come my fears of going to the dentist. I made a dentist appointment to see a dentist in two weeks. The thing is I am very embarrassed about how bad I let my teeth become.

So I just had two of my wisdom teeth removed. I was really surprised how well things went. I was really scared at first not knowing if I would feel anything. The dentist put me to sleep and it was over before I even knew it. The pain is not really all that bad at first but I think that was because I was still a little out of it.
