Need expensive dental work but have no Dental Insurance.
I am in need of some very expensive dental work done. I just got my job less then two months ago, and I do not get dental insurance until Jan of next year when the open enrollment comes up. I hate my teeth and want to get them fixed. The dentist that I have called around in my area do not offer any type of payment plan.
What can I do to get my teeth fixed and not have it cost me a ton of money I can not afford? Any useful advise please.

Look into dental schools that may be in your area. They are normally low cost since it is a learning place. With that said some dental school take people on a walk in bases leaving you to be waiting all day and possibly not getting seen when you do. So you may want to check to see if you can make an appointment or not.

You can look into dental schools. They are sometimes cheaper but another option buying a dental discount plan until your dental insurance from work kicks in. That way you can reduce your dental cost while you are waiting for your dental insurance to start.

Maybe what you may want to do is to start saving your money while you are whiting for your dental insurance to start in Jan. Even with dental insurance you are still going to have some dental cost. Putting aside money now will help you with your share of cost.

Look into buying an HMO insurance plan that can help you with your dental cost. They normally do not have waiting periods but make sure you read to confirm all the facts about the plan before buying. Other wise you may have to just wait until your dental starts in from work.
