Baby tooth is causing me to have really bad dental pain.
Okay so like I am 13 years old and one of my back molar is starting to come out and it really hurts. My mom took me to the dentist that told us that I have a cavity but it is only in the one tooth that will soon come out so he told my mom not to worry about getting it fixed.
It only wiggles very little but it really hurts at the same time. I do not understand why he can not just fix the tooth. I know it will come out soon but in the mean time I have to deal with the pain. My mom will not fix it since the dentist told her to let it come out on it own she will not even have it pulled.
This sucks and I do not know what to do to stop the pain. Mom is only given me Advile and it really is not helping. She said if I could get some other suggestions she would think about it. Please how can I stop the pain? I am not sure when this stupid tooth will come out on it own.

Try washing your mouth out with warm salt water. You may have some food bits caught in the gum where the lose tooth is. That could be way you are having some pain not. Washing it out with warm salt water will hopefully remove the food bits and keep the area clean until the tooth comes out.

Is the gum around the loose tooth red or swollen? If so you could have something irritating your tooth and gum in that area. Try washing your mouth out with warm salt water whenever you can. You could also us Orajel to help numb the pain until the tooth comes out.
