Must you always have your wisdom teeth removed?
The concept of having to have your wisdom teeth removed is not clear to me. Do you always have to have them removed? I just started to have my bottom wisdom teeth come out but they seem fine to me. They do not hurt me and as far as I can tell are coming out straight.
So why remove them just because? My dentist said they can start to cause problems but if they are not causing problems now why take them out. As you can see I do not what to have any extractions. One because of the cost and two if it is not necessary I do not see the point.

No you do not have to remove wisdom teeth and not everyone does. If you have room in your mouth for them to come out without effecting your other teeth there is no reason to have them pulled.
Some times orthodontic dentist will have the wisdom teeth pulled either before putting on braces or before taking them off. This is done so that they will not start to cause problems. during or after having braces.
If you are not having braces and want to keep your wisdom teeth then why not. If at any time the dentist see they are starting to become a issue you can at that time decide what you want done.

My son never removed had his wisdom teeth removed. All four come out just fine. The dentist said not to pull them unless they became an issue. So ever time he went in for his X-rays one a year he would make sure they still in lineament. So far so good.
One thing to know if you keep your wisdom teeth you need to make sure you floss really well in the back by them. One problem is people do not seem to floss well in the back causing them to get cavities.

No I still have two of my wisdom teeth in. The two on the bottom. I will not have them pulled as long as they are not causing any problems. I know a few people that still have all their wisdom teeth too.
