California Dental Insurance, looking for the lowest rates with the best coverages
I live in California and I do not currently have any dental insurance. My teeth as far as I know are in really good shape. However, I have not been to the dentist in over nine months. I had lost my job that was giving me the dental insurance though Blue Cross.
The problem I am having is that my new job only offer health and not dental. I called Blue Cross but their monthly rate with out my job paying for it is $48.18. I was only paying $15.00 a month for it when I had my job. So now paying $48.18 is too much for me.
I have been shopping on line but it seems like 40-50 a month is the going price. Is there dental insurance I can buy that is not so costly? With little to no waiting period preferred.

You may want to start looking for HMO instead of PPO. HMO are normally more more affordable on the monthly cost bases and do not normally have the long term waiting periods with anal dollar max limits.
It may mean changing dental office but unless you have a dentist you want to say with no matter what, buying an HMO would but the plan type that is most affordable.
