After wisdom teeth extraction
So I just had two of my wisdom teeth removed. I was really surprised how well things went. I was really scared at first not knowing if I would feel anything. The dentist put me to sleep and it was over before I even knew it. The pain is not really all that bad at first but I think that was because I was still a little out of it.
Now the next day I do feel really bad. My mouth hurts and my cheeks are swollen. I can only eat really soft stuff like pudding. So my question is this how long should I be in pain? How long will I have swollen cheeks? I never had any teeth pulled before so I think it would help knowing some kind of time frame.

When I had my wisdom teeth out I was in pain for about a week. After that I was for the most part okay. Just eat soft foods until you feel better.

Well it depends everyone is different. If you are a fast healer then say three to four days. However if you know in general you are a little slower a week or more. Your dentist may have given you something for the pain so if you use that you should be fine.

Just follow the dentist after care instructions and you will be fine in a few days. I was swollen for a little over a week but the pain was really not so bad and it stop in less then a week.
