Dental Care, Bad toothache may need a root canal
I have not been to the dentist in over seven years. I just never could afford to go to one. I am financially getting better but I know I will not be able to pay in full for a root canal. The tooth that is broken is the one that is really hurting me. It is more the half gone and I been dealing with it up until now were the pain just will not stop no matter what I do or take for that matter.
If I have the tooth pulled would it be cheaper the a root canal? Or will having a root canal cheaper. Are there still dentist willing to take a payment plan. Believe it or not I have good credit because although I do not have much money I always paid my bills on time. I just need help can you offer me some good advise.

Pulling the tooth may seem cheaper at first but do not forget you need to replace it with something. Such as a partial, bridge or even an implant which by the time you do all that is is much more expensive then having the root canal and crown done.
A dentist also will not just pull a tooth if it can be saved. You will no know your choices until you speak with a dentist and confirm what is needed.
If you have good credit then you should have better luck with a dentist offering you a payment plan.

Pulling the tooth would only be cheap if that is all you are planing to do. The issue would be that having the gap may cause your other teeth to start shifting.
I would advise that before you start having any dental work started to get dental insurance first. Or at least a dental discount plan either of which will help lower the cost for your dental services.
With out dental insurance or a dental plan the type of dental work you need will be costly regardless of what you decide to do.

If you have not been to the dentist in over seven year I am sure you will need a lot of dental work besides just one tooth pulled.
If you are on a low to fixed income I can understand that but it is no excuse for not seeing a dentist. There are dental schools and or dental clinics that can address your dental needs at a low cost and some times free depending on what you may need.
