Dental Opinions, I have a bad dentist.
My dentist is just terrible!! I have a dental insurance plan were I have to stay with network dentist but the only one close to me is a big time jerk. I do not even know why he is in business when he seems to not like his job. He always has an attitude with me over any little thing. I can not complain about his dental work since I never had him really mess anything up. It is just is personality that sucks big time. If I could go to a different dentist I would. What can I do about his attitude he gives me?

Many dentist just go about doing their job so they do not care if you are taking care of your teeth or not.
However, my dentist gets upset with my son because he does not floss yet every time he goes in he tells him how important it is for him to floss.
Then my son comes to me and start to complain about how rude the dentist is. I tell him well good maybe you will learn how to floss so that the dentist does not have to be rude.
I am not saying this is your issue with your dentist. But dentist can get tired of telling the same person over and over about the same thing. I do not think they are trying to be rude per say.

What is the problem if you really dislike your dentist so much then change your dental insurance plan so you can change your dentist.
That is the problem with provider plans you want to pick a dental insurance plan that has more then just one provider in your area so if you do not like the dentist you can easily change the provider.

What may seem to be an attitude to you may not really be one. Sometimes dentist and doctors just get in the mode of doing their job.
If you do not floss they will get on you about it. It may seem that they are being rude but they just want you to take care of your teeth so that you will not have teeth issues.
If it just that he is being moody to be moody then maybe it is about time to change dentist. Sometimes we just do not connect with people. When that happens it better to move forward and see someone else.
