Dental Insurance, I need a root canal done, What dental insurance should I get
I am in need of a root canal. I do not currently have dental insurance. My dentist told me to make sure whatever plan I decide to get that it does not have any waiting periods. Other wise he said that they are not worth getting. He said that I may be best off looking for a dental discount plan but that would be up to me.
What is a discount plan? And how will it help me regarding having a root canal done? Why dose the dentist tell me that most dental insurance will have a waiting period or will not help me with have a root canal. Please advise.
