My son is fourteen.  He has good healthy teeth but they are slightly crooked.  When he goes to his dental appointment the dentist always brings it up.  Says how I should get him in braces.  Other then his teeth being a little crooked they are fine.  In fact he never had a cavity not even with his baby teeth.

Now I am not going to cry about not having money for braces.  My husband and I can afford them if he really need to have them.  The thing is our insurance does not cover for braces and spending the money on them right now does not make the best sense to me.  My husband is on board with what I want to do in regards to this issue.

I am not sure 100 percent if I should or should not get my son braces.  I told my son that right now I do not think it is money we can afford to spend on braces.  He okay but the dentist points out his teeth so much that I think he does want to have braces.  Undecided
