Is it normal for braces to hurt your jaw?  My daughter has had braces now for six months.  She went in for another adjustment.  She has some power chains on that needed thicker wires.  Now is says her jaw hurt so much that she can not eat.   She was in pain when she first go on her braces but I would think by now she should be use to it.

Should I take her back into the orthodontic dentist to see what they can advise or should I give it a few more days and just have her take some Advil when needed? Thanks
