Dental Opinions, should I get a tooth pulled or do a root canal
The tooth next to the bottom right eye tooth is broken in half. It was given me problems on and off for a long time now. When I last saw a dentist about it he said I needed a large filling but I did not have the money to get it done at that time.
I was trying to save up to have the work and now I broke it just two days ago. I do not know what to do now. Should I just of the stupid thing pulled and be done with it your can it be saved with doing a root canal? I still do not have much money and no dental insurance I need advise please.

My advise:
One: get dental insurance. There are many low cost dental insurance dental plan there is no reason not to have one.
Two: See a dentist
Three: From there the dentist can advise you on what would be better for you. Then you can make up an informed choice.

You may have to pull the tooth depending on just how much of the tooth is left. Only a dental can really advise you on that though.
I do agree I think since you are low income you should look into gettng at least a low cost dental plan to help you out with the dental work you need.

If you can save the tooth do it. Missing a tooth in the fount is not fun. I had to deal with a gap in my part of my mouth and I hatted smiling. It was so bad.
I was just so happy when I was finaly able to have a bridge put in. You do not know what it is like to have missing teeth until you have them.

Know this: If you are planing to get dental insurance do so before you start any dental work on fixing the tooth. Once you start dental work without insurance you will not be able to change you mind latter on. Most dental insurance will not cover for missing teeth or work in progress.
